Description

The body produces uric acid to break down purines which are found in some foods and urate crystals form from a buildup of uric acid in the bloodstream.  Gout is a form of arthritis caused by an accumulation of urate crystals around the joints. Some people have high uric acid in their blood, but don’t yet have gout, so reducing uric acid may reduce the chances of getting it.  As well, some people have a less common type of kidney stone (different than the common calcium-oxalate stones) which is made of uric acid.

This an add-on to the Complete Assessment Package will teach you how to eat in order to reduce uric acid.

If you have been diagnosed with uric acid kidney stones, this is the add-on option you should select.
