FAQs

    • We are licensed to provide services in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario.
    • To learn about the different services that we offer, please click here
    • The cost of services is listed on the Intake and Service Option Form that is available on the Book an Appointment tab. 
    • No doctor’s referral is required to book an appointment unless your specific extended benefits plan requires it.
    • If planning to use your extended benefits, please verify that your specific plan covers visits to a Registered Dietitian prior to booking an appointment. 
    • If you would like to see how services are broken down on a receipt, you can download a sample receipt for a Comprehensive Dietary Package here. All packages are broken down similarly.
    • You can read about payment timing and payment options below.
    • If you don’t have extended benefits, our Flexible Payment Option enables you to pay-as-you-go for each set of services in a package. Learn more below. 
    • We frequently work with couples and multiple members of the same family, and while each individual is assessed individually, Meal Plans are designed to work together (no need for different meals).
    • We are normally booking ~2-3 weeks ahead, but we do have a cancellation list.
    • If your situation is clinically urgent, please let us know, and we will do our best to fit you in as soon as possible.
    • The time required for each appointment varies based on the service, therefore, all appointments are made via email
    • Our clinical hours are listed below.
    • We do not direct bill, however, we do provide receipts with packages broken down into their individual services, with the date and time of each service clearly indicated, so that they are quickly reimbursed. You can download a sample receipt here.
    • All services are priced at or below the Reasonable and Customary Fee Limits of five major benefit insurers in BC, Alberta, and Ontario. Check with your plan provider to find out what your specific extended benefit plan covers.
    • We no longer offer discovery calls; however, if you would like to meet to discuss your goals or health background, which service may be the most suitable for you, and to see if I am a ‘good fit’ for your needs, the Initial Hourly Consultation is designed for that purpose. Should you decide to move forward by taking one of the packages we offer, any remaining time left in the Initial Hourly Consultation can be ‘banked,’ and used later for follow-up services
    • Encryption protection secures all personal and health information sent and retained at our office.

Referral Form

If you are a doctor’s office and want to refer a patient, please download the referral form and send it with the supporting documents to the fax number indicated on the form. 

 

  • PAYMENT OPTIONS

    For scheduling purposes, pre-payment is required to book an appointment, and you may choose to pay via credit card using the secure Woo Commerce interface, or to save the credit card charges, you can remit payment by sending an e-transfer. For your security, e-transfers will be automatically deposited. 

  • If you would like to pay-as-you-go for each set of services in a package, please download and complete the Flexible Payment Option Form available here and send it along with your completed intake documents.

  • We appreciate a few days’ notice for rescheduling appointments, however, we understand that emergencies happen and can accommodate changes with 24 hours’ notice.

We usually respond within 24 hours during the work week, or 48 hours after returning from a weekend or statutory holiday.
