FAQs

    • To learn about the services that we offer, please click here.
    • No doctor’s referral is required to book an appointment unless your specific extended benefits plan requires it.
    • If you plan to claim our services from your extended benefits, please verify that your specific plan covers Registered Dietitians prior to booking an appointment. 
    • If you don’t have extended benefits, be sure to read about our Flexible Payment Options that enables you to pay-as-you-go for each set of services in a package.  For more information, please visit the Book an Appointment tab. 
    • We frequently work with couples and multiple members of the same family, and while each individual is assessed individually, Meal Plans are designed to work together (no need for different meals).
    • We are normally booking ~2 weeks ahead, but we do have a cancellation list.
    • If your situation is clinically urgent please let us know and we will do our best to fit you in as soon as possible.
    • The length of time required for each appointment varies based on the service, therefore all appointments are made via email
    • Our clinical hours are listed below.
    • We do not direct bill however we do provide receipts with packages broken down into their individual services, with the date and time of each service clearly indicated, so that they are quickly reimbursed. 
    • Payment options are outlined on this page.
    • All services are priced at or below the Reasonable and Customary Fee Limits of five major benefit insurers in BC, Alberta and Ontario. Check with your plan provider to find out what your specific extended benefit plan covers.
    • We no longer offer discovery calls however if you would like to meet to discuss your background, which service may be the most suitable, and to see if we are a ‘good fit’ for your needs, the Initial Hourly Consultation is designed for that purpose. Should you decide to move forward by taking one of the packages we offer, any remaining time left in the Initial Hourly Consultation can be ‘banked,’ and used later for follow-up services.
    • Encryption protection secures all personal and health information sent and retained at our office.

Referral Form

If you are a doctor’s office and want to refer a patient, please download the referral form and send it with the supporting documents to the fax number indicated on the form.

  • If you have questions that are not answered above, then send us a note using this form. We usually respond within 24 hours during the work week, or 48 hours after returning from a weekend or statutory holiday. 

Please note that the office is closed for the Holiday Season from December 23, 2024 to January 2, 2025, inclusively.

Please do not provide a Shaw email address as their 3rd party email client frequently bounces incoming or reply emails, making communication both frustrating and unreliable.
